NTU Floorball Novice Open 2009!!!! |
NTU Floorball Novice Open 2009!!!! NTU Floorball Novice Open 2009 was held on 9/3/09. We received an overwhelming response this year, with 16 teams formed to compete for Floorball Novice champion! All teams have displayed a surprisingly high level of play! This is something definitely worth mentioning. In additional, the team spirit and sportsmanship displayed are very commendable as well!
Special thanks to our sponsor, Blast, for sponsoring the winning teams with Blast sticks and T-shirts. CONGRATULATIONS to the winning teams: 1st: Lawnmowers 2nd: Sexy Backs 3rd: The Powderpuff Girls Most Spirited Team: Bao For those participants who are non-final year students, you are highly encouraged to join us again next year! And don't hesitate tell your friends about this event! We'll try to take in more teams for next year, so that you guys can play more games as well. On a side note, for those who are looking for an avenue to play floorball at a recreational level, the club also organizes Recreational Floorball sessions held weekly (usually Tues, 5pm) at the SRC. You can sign up for these sessions on our official website. Do check out www.ntufloorball.com for regular updates on the recreational sessions available. You may also contact our Joseph, our recreational chairperson for more information. Lastly, Photos are still in the process. Please be patient…. and check out our website for photos!!!!!

Thank you for joining NTU Floorball Novice Open 2009! We had overwhelming response for this year's competition, but to maximize game time for each team, we have capped the total number of teams to 16. In the way, its more shiok and more value-for-money right? We want you guys to enjoy yourselves! We think of your interest - we're not running a business here. Haha! (For those team that did not manage to register this year, a big thank you for your support and do come back again next year. We'll attempt to get enough court time to fit in more teams. We promise! =)The 16 registered teams are randomly allocated into 4 groups. Only the top team from each group will make it to the semi-final round. Please see below for your groupings and game fixtures. Also, do familiarize yourselves with the rules and regulations. Feel free to clarify any doubt you might have with myself (90692616) or Meiyin (96585400).Download the following here:| Team | Group A | | Team | Group B | | A1 | Team Burden | | B1 | Wind Walkers | | A2 | Soaring Higher | | B2 | Stop Suffering | | A3 | The Powderpuff Girls | | B3 | Lawnmowers | | A4 | Niners | | B4 | Team Lo Baaaah | | | | | | | | Team | Group C | | Team | Group D | | C1 | Sexy Backs | | D1 | Enthu | | C2 | The Powerpuff Girls | | D2 | Lés Observatorés | | C3 | Dragon Fighters | | D3 | Bao | | C4 | WXYZ | | D4 | Mafia |
